6 climbers our floor staff have checked, who would like to be asked to climb. A staff check comes first; then the Pool asks, and each person says yes or no. Anyone can read this Pool, only checked climbers are in it, and anyone can leave in one action.
The charter
Climbers who passed a staff belay check at Drip Line and would like to be asked to climb, most often on Saturday mornings. The check is our vouch in this Pool and nowhere else: one of us watched you tie in, belay, catch a fall and lower, once, here. Say what you climb and when, in your own words. Nobody pays to be here or to be introduced.

If staff see an unsafe belay on the floor, they talk to you there and ask you to check again. Until then your tag comes off; nothing is written anywhere else.

The Saturday Run
Saturday at eight from the front doors of Drip Line: a flat loop along the water, 5 or 10 km, and coffee after. Three paces leave together: easy, about 7:00 a kilometer or slower; steady, about 6:00; quick, about 5:00. Free, rain or shine, and open to anyone, member or not. Say your usual pace in your own words, so someone at your pace can find you. Nobody is timed, ranked or counted.

Unlisted: the address is on the card at the front desk on those nights, and in no directory or discovery file. Anyone with the address can still read it, so say here only what you would say at the desk.

Taking your tag down is one action
This is Fatima’s own screen for Belay Partners: her tag, who checked her, and one way out. Leaving sends one withdrawal message, and the Pool must process it within sixty seconds §5.3. Her page stays hers, her check is simply no longer listed, and anyone she has already written to keeps the thread, because messages go by email §6.1.
Privacy in a Pool comes from its visibility. kindling_noindex means something else: “do not include me in any Pool at all” §2.7.
